FORMULATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF HYDROXYUREA LOADED NANOSTRUCTURED LIPID CARRIERS USING DESIGN OF EXPERIMENT FOR THE EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OF OVARIAN CANCER

Objective: Ovarian cancer is the most deadly in women, ranking fourth among all fatal diseases women. Conventional chemotherapy has its own plethora of challenges, such as side effects and disease relapse. Hydroxyurea a type anticancer drug that commonly used to treat malignancies. This study aims develop optimize hydroxyurea nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) improve therapeutic index reduce effective treatment OC. Methods: NLCs were prepared by microemulsion technique. They optimized using design experiment for particle size entrapment efficiency. Particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, morphology, vitro release, stability examined formulation. Results: The results showed was range 224 nm 634 nm. efficiency 46.33 % 70.43 %. had 237 nm, 26.9%, potential of-29.7 mV. These spherical, release 92.21% up 48 h, found be stable from studies. Conclusion: approach could better delivery platform drug's effects, feasible management ovarian cancer.
